Florida State Park Pet Policy

Domestic pets are permitted in designated areas at all Florida State Parks. Pets must be kept on a leash that is no longer than six feet. All pets must be well-behaved at all times. Pet owners are required to pick up after their pets and properly dispose of their droppings. Pets are not permitted on beaches or in bathing areas, playgrounds, cabins, park buildings or concession facilities.

Service animals are welcome in all Florida State Parks.

Dog Beaches

Honeymoon Island State Park in Dunedin, Fl. Dogs are allowed in designated areas including the pet beach on the southern tip of the island. Pets must remain on a six foot handheld leash at all times.
