Wekiwa Springs Part 2

Here I am free at last.  My people found a place where horses are allowed to hang out.  Sometimes my people call me a "Doberman" and sometimes they call me a "horse."  Since they put me in here I can assume that dobermans and horses are the same thing.  It was nice getting off the leash but it would have been more fun if my friends Roxie and Pinky were there to play with.  I got bored so I decided to go read a sign.  For once it didn't say "No Pets."

Daphne, from far away the horses cannot tell the difference you blend right in. So happy you could run free. You sure are getting around!

Sad news Daphne, Pinky passed away two weeks ago tomorrow. Roxie is a bit overweight and wanted to sit on the couch with me and Pinky and accidentally put her paw on her neck. Pinky did not suffer, as she died quickly, but it was hard on mom and Roxie for a while. We really miss you all and want to go back to the park. It is only Roxie and I and 5 cats. Maybe we can see you again at our park on weekends if you are still going. Roxie has not been there in so long. Daphne, since you are such a worldly sophisticated "Doberman", please let Roxie know when you have time for her again.

Thank you for your kind words. Time heals and we are all doing better. Pinky is buried in my back yard and has an angel and flowers on her grave. Roxie and I visit it everyday.

Daphne your skin looks beautiful. Roxie was doing fine as long as she is on Predazone but when I stop she gets bad again. So right now she has some hot spots. Roxie and I were wondering what you are taking for your skin. I remember the doctor switched from the steroid to something else. We all wish you Happy New Year. See you all next year.

Hi Mary,

Its hard to say. Daphne is off Predazone and has an antihistamine instead to prevent itching. She also has an anti-bacterial shampoo. I think in the end, even though the vet could not find any mites, she was treated for manage (three shots - one every two weeks) and I think that did it. If not, it was some kind of allergy that went away on its own.

So Daphne that is your secret of looking so young and pretty. You are getting Botox Injections! I am going to see my Dr. this week, to see what they say about my skin. Happy New Year. Did your parents put a New Year Hat on you? These fireworks are driving me crazy. Gotta go get my beauty sleep see you next year.
